Mission

Tam's Beautiful Butterflies mission is to partner with schools, colleges in order to educate teens and young adults about suicide. We will offer services to those suffering from suicidal ideation and mental health issues.

We hope to save lives and reduce the number of suicides in our community. We will provide guidance and structure to the affected young adults in Illinois and surrounding communities. We plan to provide the highest quality of programs while individualizing services and maintaining integrity,  fairness, and honesty.

Our Story

Cortez and Tammy Bush Hamilton lost their daughter to suicide in 2014.  After such a tragedy she was on the search for answers.  She ran across the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).  She was able to find Bereavement Support resources,  Community- based presentations such as Talk Save Lives ... Community Walks like the Out OF Darkness Walks, Illinois State Capitol Day and the Overnight Suicide Walk all of which helped her through her grieving process.  Tammy also reached out to the Local Illinois Chapter to offer to serve.  She now serves on their committee. Tammy along with her siblings are on a mission to Save Lives through their 501C3 Nonprofit Tam's Beautiful Butterflies...
